Read, read, read! Read it all!!!!! I love you!

Hi everyone,

We reviewed prepositions again and some of the sentences from your homework last week.  

Remember this capitalization rule:   Ann Forman, governor   (or)  Governor Ann Forman
Capitalize a title if it immediately precedes the name, but doesn’t have a comma separating it.

We also began writing a paragraph with descriptive words.  We took a simple sentence, “She/He is nice” and began developing descriptive words to explain why someone is nice.  Check out the writing sample I sent home, “My baby sister is the picture of health.”

We started your homework - do the best you can since we didn’t get to cover everything deeply.

    All grades:
    • Complete the open book test on Units 16-18.

    • Read Lessons 96-100 in America the Beautiful Part II (disregard the activities listed at the end of each lesson).

    • In Maps of America the Beautiful, complete:  Lesson 96 on Map 23, Lesson 97 on Map 23, Lesson 98 on Map 6, Lesson 99 on Map 3 and Lesson 100 on Map 2.

    • In We The People, read page 113-119.

    • Answer the following questions in your Lesson Review workbook:
      • Lesson 96, numbers 1-5  (p. 51 in Lesson Review)
      • Lesson 97, numbers 1-5 (p. 52)
    • Lesson 98, numbers 1,2 and 4 (p.52)
    • Lesson 99, numbers 1, 3 and 4 (p.53)
    • Lesson 100, numbers 1-4 (p.53)
